The new PTFE mouse feet (which is the same material used to coat non-stick pans) glided over any surface I tried them on, including a leather sofa. It felt accurate, snappy, and smooth, even when I used it on my desk without a mouse mat. What I will say is that the V2’s sensor performed flawlessly. How often do you need to go above 16,000 DPI/CPI? Not often. Those increased numbers may or may not mean much to you, because they’ll make very little difference in day-to-day performance. It goes up to 20,000 DPI/CPI (16,000), tracks up to 650 inches per second (450), and has a resolution accuracy of 99.6 percent (99.4 percent). The matte black coating on the top of the mouse stops your hand from slipping, and when combined with the V2’s shape (like the Elite, it’s pretty much the ideal shape for a right-hander, and fits well in almost any palm size) it makes the V2 a comfortable mouse to use for hours and hours.Īnd then we come to the sensor, Razer’s 'party trick' (the Deathadder Elite’s stats are in parentheses for comparison). Without seams to separate them, dirt buildup is less of a concern, too. They’re still grippy, but it looks much slicker. On the V2, there’s less separation, and with raised, pimpled portions on the panel instead. The Deathadder Elite has segmented thumb rests on either side of the mouse, with edges that clearly separate them from the rest of the side panel. Your best option is to go to a tech store and hope they have them on display, but my 2013 edition is still working fine and I don't find a problem with the click being too light.Next, the material. Ontopic: This is really difficult to assess as we don't know how heavy you lay your fingers on your mouse, what grip, and what you prefer in a mouse click.
I've used a Deathadder for the past 2 years, and I've had no problems, and I have friends who had Deathaddders from 3.5G and they've had no problems, obviously this person's mouse isn't the garbage you make it out to. Price doesn't denote quality also, the Mamba and Ourborous are probably shitty mice. Might as well mention how all of Logitech's keyboards are complete trash. List pros and cons instead of crying about how Razer is shit and Logitech is god.
Razer is like beats of the peripherals world, except that Beats is getting better Did I mention that they both broke and Razer took their sweet ass time to replace them which promptly broke down again right after the warranty. HA, I've owned the Mamba and the Ourborous, 2 of Razer's mose expensive mice, and non of them hold a candle to the Logitech G700s, or the G502, or the Corsair M65, or the Steelseries Wireless, or pretty much any mice you can buy for anywhere near that price.
